ProMedica Hospice Thanks Veteran Patient for Dedication to the Veteran Community
ProMedica Hospice serving North Central Illinois and Southern Wisconsin, a proud We Honor Veterans Level 5 partner, was honored to host a special veteran pinning ceremony for Scott Haugh. Scott was recognized for his service in the Army in the First Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm, as well as for his continued service at home to other veterans and families in the area. Over the years, Scott has held many leadership positions such as Commander of the Disabled American Veterans Blackhawk Life Chapter 29 for the past 17 years, past District Commander for the American Legion Post 139 in Freeport, past Commander of AMVETS Post 32, past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 63 in Freeport and liaison for Employer Support for Guard and Reserves (ESGR) in Northern Illinois for the past 14 years. He also currently serves as the local Veteran employment representative for the state of Illinois, helping to connect employers with Veteran employees.
ProMedica Hospice was proud to recognize Scott with a certificate of appreciation, a pin and a handmade plaque from a ProMedica volunteer for his military service.
